Please note: In order to qualify for this product, you must not have a medical history of cancer, unexplained vaginal bleeding, liver disease, or be more than 10 weeks pregnant.
Disclaimer: This is not an appointment with Dr. Aimee. Instead, Dr. Aimee will review your Proov Progesterone Score that was provided in your end-of-cycle report and will provide a prescription for ovulation induction medication and/or progesterone, if deemed medically necessary. What types of medications can I get from this consultation?
Dr. Aimee can prescribe one or more of the following medications during this visit
- Progesterone. Progesterone is the hormone that supports implantation and pregnancy. Taking additional progesterone after ovulation can help the fetus implant and increase pregnancy chances
- Letrozole. Letrozole is a medication that can induce ovulation in women who are having trouble ovulating on their own.
- Metformin. Metformin is a medication that helps the ovary function by reducing insulin insensitivity. It is often prescribed to women with a BMI over 30.
I'm pregnant and I got a low Progesterone Score, can this help me carry a healthy pregnancy?
If you have already received a positive pregnancy test and also have a low Progesterone Score, a progesterone prescription may or may not impact the health of your pregnancy. It is possible to get and stay pregnant with a low Progesterone Score and pregnancies can be at risk for reasons other than low progesterone.
Will I get a visit with Dr. Aimee?
No, this product does not include a visit with or access to Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh. Instead, Dr. Aimee will review your Ovulation Score and write a progesterone prescription for you, if deemed medically necessary.
Where will be prescription be filled & how soon will I receive it?
Your prescription will be filled by CostPlus and can take up to 5-7 days to be delivered.
