Yes, you can still log your symptoms, track your hormones, and connect with a medical professional, just note any hormones you are taking will affect your hormone results.

Most forms of birth control that contain synthetic estrogen and/or progesterone will decrease levels of natural hormones and as a result Proov FSH, E1G, and PdG levels will be lower. Optimal hormone ranges displayed in the Proov app are based on the levels the body naturally produces before menopause. Hormone replacement (HRT) levels could be different from these levels.

We measure your hormones in urine instead of blood. This allows us to get a snapshot of your levels without needles or lab visits.

Blood tests are typically a single day, but Empower lets you track your hormones over 3-4 timepoints to see how your hormones change over time.
