Whats the Proov PDG difference?

Ovulation is more than a “yes/no”. In fact, it’s possible to release an egg but still not have enough progesterone - the hormone released after ovulation - to support implantation.

Proov measures a hormone marker released after ovulation, called PdG, that supports implantation and tracks it during the implantation window, which can give women more insight than a standard ovulation test.

Is Complete an accurate at home fertility test?

Yes, Proov Complete is 99% accurate at detecting FSH, E1G, LH, and PdG in urine.

I already use ovulation predictor kits (OPKs). How is Proov Complete different?

Traditional ovulation predictor tests measure just one hormone (luteinizing hormone) to identify your two most fertile days, but this is only one piece of the fertility puzzle. Proov Complete provides extensive additional data to help you better understand your hormone balance, cycle, and ovulation, so you can be better set up for success. In addition to measuring LH, you’ll measure FSH to assess your ovarian reserve, E1G (a marker of estrogen) to identify your longest possible fertile window, and PdG (a marker of progesterone) to check for successful ovulation.

How does Complete work?

Proov Complete tracks 4 key hormones & hormone markers across your entire cycle. After you download the free Proov Insight app and activate your kit, the app will create your personalized testing protocol. Each morning before you pee, check in with the app to determine whether or not it's a testing day. Then, take your test according to the in-app instructions. Proov Complete Fertility Testing System
I am on month six of TTC. I have been tracking LH for about the entire six months already, to get an idea of my cycles. At the start of month five I decided to use the Complete test to get a better understanding. As someone with very irregular cycles since coming off of long term use of hormonal birth control, being able to see where my hormones are through my cycle was very interesting to me. Because they are so irregular though, I had tons of questions as to when I was actually getting an LH surge to show ovulation vs normal fluctuation. But the support team was so incredibly helpful! They always respond within 24 hours or so to emails, whether it's uploading a test strip for me or answering my indepth questions. I truly appreciate the support from the Proov team. While I am not pregnant yet, the tests have provided great insight into what's going on as my hormones continue to regulate.

I owe my pregnant to the Proov Complete Kit! My husband and I began trying in 2023 and had several unsuccessful cycles. We took some time off of tracking and just focused on ourselves for a while. Then, two months ago we wanted to start trying again. I used a Proov Complete kit for one cycle and found out I was estrogen dominant. I added in the E- supplement and got a prescription for progesterone through Proov's connected doctor, Dr. Aimee. I then did another Complete kit with a second cycle and those changes. That cycle I ovulated a little later than usual, but thanks to my hormone tracking with Proov Complete, we were still able to time thing appropriately. We got pregnant that second cycle! We are so grateful for Proov!

I have used the complete two cycles and love to be able to see my full hormone levels across the board very convenient testing tells you what day to take the test. Remind you to take it in the morning and at night that is easy to understand which is very important.

Proov Complete Fertility Testing System
After over a year of TTC we decided to try the Proov test strips. After a month of results from testing alone, one of the Proov supplements was suggested for me to try. Took it for 1 cycle and ended up pregnant. Over 30 weeks currently and couldn’t be happier. Anyone in my life who mentions struggling to conceive I have recommended Proov to.

Proov Complete Fertility Testing System 1 Cycle Kit
Proov is good but it's not perfect. We should not expect things like this to be perfect, so it's okay. I am a fairly longtime user of Proov PdG tests ("Confirm" tests). I have always been really happy with them and they have been so helpful. For the first time, I bought and tried a Complete Kit. I really liked all the data I got and it was really interesting and helpful. There was one bad thing and that is that it didn't identify my peak day accurately. I am a longtime cycle-tracker and know my cycle and fertile signs really well. The day the app said I had my peak, what the app said was weird and at the time that it happened I suspected that it was a day early. Even though the app told me I was done testing until much later in the cycle, I went ahead and tested the next couple of days. Sure enough, my true peak was the next day as I thought it would be. Also by testing the day after my (true) peak, I was able to see the "peak" of the line (with lower values both on the day before and day after). The true peak day was extremely obvious, much higher than the day the app claimed was my peak (not only did it tell me it was my peak, but it also told me I already ovulated and my fertile window was closed; I didn't actually ovulate until two days later, which was confirmed by multiple other cycle-tracking signs). I contend that if this happens, the app should be "smart" enough to see when the true peak was and shift its protocols accordingly. However, it did not do that. It stubbornly continued to claim my peak was the day before my actual peak, and therefor my PdG testing a week later was also one day early (I did do five days of PdG testing instead of the usual four, just to cover what the app claimed were the four implantation days it wanted to look at, plus an extra day at the end that was the "real" end of the four days that it should have been looking at). Thankfully there were plenty of tests in the Complete Kit to do this "extra" testing despite the app's error and stubbornness. All that to say, the tests and the app are great but aren't perfect and they are really just one tool in a larger toolbox of helpful things for cycle-tracking women. I would strongly recommend women to learn cycle-tracking via an established FAM program and learn their bodies and cycles really, really well in addition to using the testing. For women who don't know cycle tracking, if they were relying on the app only and did what it said and having sex accordingly for purposes of conception, and if they had the situation that I had, they would have literally lost two of their most fertile days of that cycle because the app was wrong. Moral of the story is to learn your own body and your own cycles. Don't rely on apps; they can help but they aren't perfect.

Proov Complete Fertility Testing System 1 Cycle Kit
I bought Proov Complete kits after being diagnosed with endometriosis, as I wanted to get a better sense of a possible hormone imbalance. I found it helpful to be able to test everyday in order to get a full picture. Content published on Proov is very informative, thanks a lot for this. Also, I would add the following features to even improve the app: 1) Possibility to upload results offline (usefull when you test while not having coverage, for instance when waking up on a plane). 2) Time zone management (when traveling long distances - and crossing the international date line - the app gets confused and does not let you log in results properly. Very kind and efficient customer service.
